 A rework of the Lancaster bomber into a civilian transport. Captioning of this early 2 stabilizer fin variant says it was Churchill's personal aircraft. Apparently he got tired of flying around in military aircraft, and was allotted this for state business use. Later commercial variants had a 3rd stabilizer fin over the tail. Regards, Doc Sharptail |
