I'm in work on a couple of articles for Banzai and am trying to find any other owners of the Kokubunji (Nagoya Nambu) prototypes referred to in "JMCH 1893-1945" by Derby and Brown (page 165) and in the "Collector's Guide to Imperial Japanese Handguns 1893-1945" by James Brown (page 32). These will be those with the Nambu arsenal symbol only and in the serial number range of 0-24(?) and have a Large Trigger Guard & magazine retainer springs. I have a question or two about them concerning inspection marks used and type of finished used on the parts. Have only seen a couple of photos of them that appear in the reference books sighted above but with new data surfacing since these references where published I am trying to get informaiton on them to updated that data as well. If you have one please send me an email or PM. Thanks Dale |
