Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

.....but I'm afraid I cant say much info wise about them,since I gave my Mausers of the World book to 'hogger for reference :lol

FN made the best quality rifles. I had a Columbian SAFN & traded it off on a Marlin... like a dummy.

I had a very nice Columbian Mauser which was a conversion to the 3006. Yours being a FN it is in its original barrel and configuration. When Columbia contracted with FN for the Columbian FN model 1950 they performed arsenal reworks of Columbian FN model 24 short rifle and a number of VZ 12/33 in their arsenal. Mine was one of the converted FN 24's. Beautiful rifle but never had the oportunity to shoot it. I unfortunatly had to sell some of my nicer rifles when I was off work early last year. Needed to keep roof over head and the best of my collection were easiest to cash out. I sold it for $350 but wish I still had it.
