Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

I was thinking the other day that Russian capture Mausers are still relatively cheap. In the future they may be very desirable. I can imagine someone seeing one and saying"wow! A Russian capture. I wish I had one of those.". Just remember that German K98's were cheap and plentiful at one time, and look at what they sell for now. If I can scrape together some money, I just may buy one that has all the original proof marks intact.

...get them while you can.The ones in decent shape are rapidly getting snatched up and the prices are climbing on them.At one time I had a dozen( a pittance compared to what some fellas have these days :roll: ),but I've sold or traded off all but one to finance other more expensive rifles and pistols.I sort of regret it,but not really.the one Ive kept has been my favorite and its a great shooter,and the markings are all there.I'd rather have one great one than a dozen crappy worn out beat up ones... :lol

Yes I too am thinking I should add RC k98's to my collection. I would like to have an S code RC fully intact and a later letter code (believe it of not) pinged. The reason, to show what Ivan did to them. ;)
