I took better pics of a couple items for another site & am including them here. I do not know what language appears on the bandage. Roumanian?

Previous owner had it safety pinned to his shirt. I also picked up an e-tool withbadly damaged handle. I can't recall what prompted me to hump it all the way back. Dad was going to put a new handle in it & leave it in the sand box for my sisters. He never got around to that & Mom left them in a leaky shed with some other junk like my HS yearbook.

Both are shown with a 348 Win case for size perspective.

I had completely forgotten about both & found them when cleaning out the house after Dad passed away. The junk people don't keep! :? SW

..well so far not much luck....nothing seems to fit Romanian,Czech Latvian,Bulgarian,or any of the commy bloc countries...but one thing does catch my eye...the pic with the 'rico kotszermovek'......above that is what I think part of says ..."....'???????' 1953 oct. 6 '?????'...thats all that seems to fit so far....still diggin'... ;)

Yep - 1953. What about Serbia? Well... I guess it would have been Yugoslavia then. I ruled out Bulgaria & Russia...

When I got it, I showed to Gunny & he said it was French... Riiiiiight! ;)

....nyet-....not Serbian or any other Yugo sub-state...thats the first ones I czech'd...makes no sense so far... :roll: :-?
