I think the silver one is Leno's Blastolene Special. It's running a tank engine I believe. |

Worth clicking on this one! There's one 57' in there~ next to the super eight. Can't exactly remember the chrome layout- likely ford or merc. Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Loved the colors of those series Fords from '61-'63... Incidentally, the bias belt tires that were standard equipment on new cars in that period were "interesting" (skid prone even on dry pavement) to drive with at freeway velocities... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Nylon tires were tried for a while back then. In cold weather they'd get a flat spot that thumped away for a few miles. Dad bought one set and that was it. "Never again!" SW |

Ford Thunderbird concept prototype. I believe a '62 factory body was extensively re-worked here, unless the body is aluminum. If so, it would have been all hand work. Build quality is about equal to my '61 fordor hard-top. Note gapped work on kick panels below the doors. The dark object at lower rear of the car is not part of the car. It's a walk-off carpet on the floor... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

i might have been impressed in 62 , but a couple years later i fell in love with carol shelbys AC cobra , got to see the team race a few times and have been in love with that car ever since , always thought an original AC would be fun but the wood chassis did not age well , |

Looks like one to me as well. I don't think they got into car body design until the Zil limousine series started... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Here's a '51 Hornet. Twin "H" motor. Disney/Pixar based the judge character in the kid's movie "Cars" on this one. Gotta find a pick of my grandad's Ford Woody wagon... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

right hand driver ? looks a lot like that iseta of the very early 60s to me , a fellow viking pump employee imported one back then , just a trike with a cab as i recall , at that point in life i was just thinking to get a triumph so i had no interest in that sort of thing , |
