There was the odd one of these still around when I was in quite early grade school in the early sixties. They tended to be driven by older folks back then.

I thought this was an old Austin or Morris Minor at first glance-then I saw the rumble seat...

Chevs of that vintage had "knee action" suspension that didn't hold up well on rural roads. SW
