There were 5 replicas built using GE CJ610 jet engines (a non-after burning J85 for those of you familiar with American military jet engines. The one in the video is stated to be N262AZ, which is owned by the Collings Foundation in Stow, MA. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Me_262_Project |

Interesting! Too bad there's no gear-up footage... They were hard to catch. One of the originals was shot down by a late version Spitfire, and there were 2 others brought down by the U.S.A.F.
