I noticed alot of guys are from the Tennessee area. Anyone a beemer rider?
I'll be down there in July for the yearly BMW MOA ralley. My friend and my dad and I will be going over to ride the dragons tail at Deals Gap one of the days.

I have never been to a rally but I used to go to a lot of flat track races and the Mid Ohio road race before the bottom dropped out of my employment. Put my bike away over 10 years ago and haven't gotten it out since.

The dragons tail sounds like fun. The one time I was close to it I had never heard of but I was on my cousins water buffalo (Honda Goldwing) and it just wallowed through the curves on the Blue Ridge.

What a great rally!! something like 8300 bikes. I rode the dragon and the snake. The people were super friendly not like up here. Just like us thought they had an ammo shortage down there, plus they have a 10 cent ammo tax.The 14 hour truck ride down sucked! :-x

Glad you got the rides in SubHunter! I'm off this weekend to the Mid-Ohio "Vintage Motorcycle Days". Ought to be interesting as they are calling for rain all weekend. If they are still running (which I hope they do) will make things real hairy around turn 5 for those old two wheelers!

I always road my bike except one time when we went to Yellowstone and we would get up in the morning with frost on everything and this was the end of June.

We were going to ride but I got laid off and the new job only offered two weeks a year vacation which you had to earn, so I could not take the extra two days to ride down. I would have loved to. I don't believe in trailering a perfectly good motorcycle.
