The more I look at the pic, the odder it becomes... like the helmet... not WW2 German. And the license plate on the bike - Russian ( possibly Bulgarian). Can't tell for sure about the front fender sign. Bruce G - what kind of bike it that? Doesn't look like a Beemer. SW |

I've been trying to figure that out. It has that big blocky looking case like a beemer but it looks like a vertical one lunger. But with the pipe coming off of the left? Fram looks beemwrish too. I'll dig around. |

Looks like an old R2 which would place it around '34 or '35? A bit more utilitarian thn the civilian versions |

On another site, a fellow said something about the uniform was early 30s - which would explain the older helmet. I'm still not sure about the license plate, but it might just be an odd angle. SW |
