Back when I was riding a lot of American Rust riders wouldn't wave because of who knows what and I wasn't riding same type.

Here in North Florida, it's the very rare Harley rider who will wave. Not too many Goldbling riders either. We DualSport riders are a friendly bunch though - I ride daily and find DS riders to wave more than others. We are a college town, and even a good many CrotchRocketeers will wave.
Heck, I even make a scooter-rider's day and give him a wave! :D

If it ain't no V-twin it ain't no motorbike.

Brgds, A

(PS: A Goldwing is an RV, not a motorbike.)

Over here we call V-twin engines like the Harleys have.
I don't own a bike anymore. My last one was a Honda Shadow. Not a Harley, but still a V-Twin ...
 Best regards, A

after a dealer in waco told me it took 6-8 months to get parts for a guzzi under a warranty repair that was enough for me "not" to buy one :-o .I think they build a good looking bike but if it breaks your screwed.if you have to go with a italian bike buy a duck.atleast you can get parts.

There is nothing like the smoothness of a 4 or 6 cylinder riceburner. Don't want no thumpers or vibrators.

I've been bugging my father in law to send me one of those vintage Ural military bikes with sidecar, but unfortunately he thinks I'm joking :-(

Best Regards, A
