Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Anyone seen any FR-8 rifles for sale lately? At shows or shops. I have one in great shap I put on hold, they want $395 for it, I think I paid $275 for the last one I bought years ago. Not sure how much more value there will be in them.

Watch the wood from the rear action screw to the wrist.
The hardwood they used liked to split in this area.
For a '98 receiver, some can be soft. Have a 'smith run headspace gauges through it, and inspect the locking lug channels.
Can be fired with commercial .308 soft point stuff. Moderate pressure handloads are even a better idea...
